· Current reports are in and have been distributed to council.
Review of committee minutes
· Mayor to find out status of Terrorism Plan with Emergency Services Committee
· Mary told Priscilla (of Jim Kraft's office) that we were not aware of the urgency; we are
working on it and will complete as soon as possible

· Code book updates to be completed in three weeks
· Cost is $20.50 per page of supplemem, regardless of number of copies primed
· Order remains at 25 copies/per page to update current books
· Updates to arrive about December 1st
· Mayor to ask council to give code books to Cindy by November 26th
· Larry McCarm requested a code book
· Code book distribution list to be reviewed

o Mayor stated that controlled access to website is needed

o Any and all emergency responders must be listed with City-County Health

o Mayor's name to be added to call-out list as head of City of Laurel
o Mayor to follow up on recent presentation on weapons of mass destruction
o Federal help is available, bnt caution regarding incident control is necessary

o Scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tonight
o Casey Joyce to e-mail documents before 5:00 p.m.
o Discussion regarding if Mary should attend public hearing; Mayor stated that
Casey Joyce is responsible and should have arranged for someone to take minutes
if they are needed.

o Jay Hatton will present at council meeting on Wednesday, November 6th.

o Council will receive input to help decide regarding bids: reject, wait until next
year, or move ahead with project
o COP Construction and HKM will attend council workshop tonight

o Steve Atwood working on plans; wants to know when to attend council or
workshop meeting
o Associated Glass is still leasing garage space at former location and gave no
indication of consideration to sell.

o Should be ready by December 1st

o Steve will know time frame by next Tuesday.

o Action Medical - oxygen company is out of business
o Companies require long-term contracts and purchase of tanks
o Valley Welders submitted the best deal so far
o Monthly rental and lease fees required
o Mayor asked Jan to check with Park City, Bridger, and Joliet regarding oxygen
contracts.

o Requested meeting with Mayor; Mayor will contact
· Joint City-County meeting on Thursday, October 24th
o Mayor thanked staff for attending meeting
· Discussion regarding fire damage at City Shop
o Steve asked how to address the damage at the shop.
o Americlean of Billings needs a signed contract before the process starts.
o Open-ended contract; no dollar figures included in contract
o Matt to review contract
o Emergency exceptions prior to council approval to be reviewed
· Flu shots for city employees
o Steve requested that flu shots be provided for city employees.
o Cost would outweigh costs of having sick employees
o Costs $68.85/vial
o Steve to check on costs and possibilities
