BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
MARCH 16, 1998 7:00 P.M.
OLD COURT ROOM
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman - Bud Johnson

The Committee reviewed the following 1998-99 preliminary budgets:
Storm Sewer Bonds the final payment on this issue will be
paid in June 1999. Due to cash on hand in this fund, the mill
levy is reduced from 10 mills to 5 mills for 1998-99.
Light Districts #2 and #3 will have the same assessment as
last year.
General Fund Streets, State Gas Fund, Street Maintenance
Assessment and the Sweeping District was reviewed. Discussion
regarding a documented street improvement program and
equipment. This will be reviewed again at a later date.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:07 p.m.
The next scheduled meeting is March 24th at 7:00 p.m.
