Recycling:
Scott Berens, owner of Earth First Aid, came to give a presentation on recycling. He stated that they
recycle #1 and #2 plastics, cardboard, newspaper, steel and aluminum. Earth First Aid offers curbside
recycling service along with roll off containers. Earth First Aid has roll off containers placed in Billings at
three of the Albertson's locations. Scott stated that they do not have any roll off containers at this time so
the only option the city would have would be curbside recycling. Steve explained that, in order to make it
worth the trip to Laurel, he would need at least one hundred customers to sign up. Curbside service is
picked up every two weeks and is $14.00 per month.
Replacement of Waterlines and Street Reconstruction:
Richard made a motion to continue with the rest of the agenda next month when Kurt is able to attend.
Bill seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Other:
There was discussion and those items will be on next month agenda.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
