A Council Workshop was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Bud Johnson
at 6:32 p.m. on June 11, 2002.

COUNCIL WORKSHOP AGENDA:
1. Discussion - changing agenda deadline
· Three proposals reviewed: All information shall be submitted
a. by nine a.m. (9:00) on the Wednesday immediately preceding the next regularly scheduled council meeting.
b. by nine a.m. (9:00) on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month ....
c. by nine a.m. (9:00) on the second Wednesday following the regularly scheduled City Council meeting ....
2. Ambulance rates
· From recommendation by Emergency Services Committee
3. Discussion - Internet and E-mail policy for employees
· Employees and volunteers - coverage for computer, Internet, and e-mall
4. Staff recommendation on new water intake
· Intake Gallery - 20 million gallons/day design; pipes dug into riverbed; design has had
problems at locations on Yellowstone
· Protected Passive Screens - 20 million gallons/day design; located in south channel of fiver;
screen set on cement base that extends into river bottom; cost factor is less; passive screen
would provide best solution at least cost
5. Alley abandonment: None

8. Other items: Matt Erekson - Presentation of proposed contracts for legal services.
