Mark called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Discussion was held regarding services
offered by Atlac Insurance, called Info One. Mary was instructed to call Nick Hill for
more information.
Several meetings back, discussion was held regarding a health insurance and benefit
survey. Mark had presented a draft of one that Billings developed. The committee
would like to develop a survey to fit the city's needs.
Mary reported that she had contacted Gena Klotz for names of brokers who could present
information on other available plans in Montana, and have them come to this meeting.
Gena recommended Therese Fairbanks (ofHoiness LaBar) and Mick and Marlo Difi'onzo
(ofDifronzo & Co.). Unfortunately, neither party was available for this meeting. Mick
Difronzo is a licensed consultant and would be happy to come to another meeting for a
fee. Mary asked for direction. Discussion followed. Another meeting will be scheduled
for the last week in September, and Mary will ask David Brickley, Gena Klotz, and Mick
Difi-onzo to attend. The meeting time will be 5:00 p.m.
Also discussed was the issue of continuing to allow retirees to stay with the group. The
disadvantages of usage and demographics were mentioned, along with the compassion
factor of years of service, etc. No decision was made, only discussion.
The meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
