Special meeting called to order at 1900 by Chairman John Smith.
Members present wereBill Brennan,Bob Spannagle,Bob Western, and Roy Zahm.
Guests present wer~ Cai Cumin,Will Metz, and Frank Felke.
This special moeting was called to consider amending Laurel Airport Zoning, chapt. 17.28.00
thtough 17.28.200.The amendmem would basicly enlarl~ tbe~2onlng area to correspond
witkthe new runway clearance requi__~__ments.
We expressed our concerns about charging an exorbitant inspection foe on builders in this zone.
A public hearing will be held with the City/County Planning Board at 3:00 P.M. April 4,2002
at the Laurel city hall.
Moved by Western, seconded by Zahm to reccommend passage of this ordinance.
Laurel Fly in and Airport dedication will be held on June 8,2002.
