Bill Staudinger mentioned a problem with dogs in the park area on Washington Avenue.
Terry Ruff stated that the county bum ban and fireworks ban was liRed today.
Rick Musson stated that the police department would do their best to confiscate fireworks and write
warnings and tickets.
Larry McCann stated that the light district was presented to the Budget/Finance Committee. Mike
Reichman, Montana Power, will present it to the Public Works Committee on July 9th. The goal is to
present a light district resolution to the council on July 17t~.
Jan Faught mentioned that Care 1 and Care 2 would be fully manned through 4:00 a.m. on July 5th.
Duke Nieskens gave a short presentation on water main replacement. He explained the water main line
replacements that wood be included in the next budget. These projects would fix some dead end areas
and undersized lines on the south side of town.
The meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
