The ~neeting was called to order at 1900 by Chairman Jotm Smith.
Members present were;Bill Bre~mm~,Bob Spmhnagle,Bob Western, and Roy Zatma.
Guests present were;Bob Redding,Don Crilly,Kent Potter,Randy pfeiffie. John Ostlund, and Cal
Cmnin.
Bills,listed separately,were approved.
Minutes of the September,2001 meeting were approved as read.
Cai Cumin reported on "Airport Zoning"around the Laurel Airport and proposed changes to the
zoning ordinance 17~28.
Beacon and runway light bulbs that we can no longer use have been returned to the Montana
Departmem of Aeronautics fbr credit.
A motion waS made by Western to require a $300.00 deposit fee fi'om tenative hangar builders to
reserve a specfific site for upto 90 days. Tiffs deposit will be apphed to ttfier lease when fl~ey build
but will be forfeit if they do not. Seconded and passed.
The City of Laurel would like to perform annual voluntary fire inspections at the Airport.
A motion waS made and seconded to accept a loan/grant from the state Aeronautics Department.
Motion passed.
Our annual audit waS recieved and discussed. Copies of the audit are available for $35.00.
We will open a commrecial checking account tbr paying certain bills. Approved.
We will put combination locks on ail the Airport gates.
Bids for construction of a 30' X 48~ building for vehicle storage were recieved.the bid was
awarded to Aldrich Lumber ibr$11,
Meeting was adjourned at 2030.
