MINUTES OF THE LAUREL- YELLOWSTONE CITY - COUNTY PLANNING BOARD
July 10, 1975
A meeting of the Laurel - Yellowstone City- County Planning Board
was called to order by John Smith, President, on July 10, 1975, at
7:30 p.m., with the following members present:
John Smith, President (City Representative)
Larry D. Herman, Executive Secretary (City Representative)
Kenneth Christian, (County Representative)
Alan Richardson, (Representative at Large)
Don Ronan, Vice President (County Representative)
Robert Dantic (City Representative)
Members of the Board who were absent were as follows:
Leo Kamp (County Representative)
R. M. Williams (County Representative)
Henry Gomer (City Representative)
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and corrected. The
minutes were accepted by the Board upon correction.
Dan Hudson brought forth a proposal to the Board on Hudson Sub-
division in which he wishes to build multi- dwelling units. This matter
was referred to the Community Development Committee for review and
consideration.
The petition on the preliminary plat for East Laurel Industrial
Park, Dave Folsom, was presented to the Board for consideration. James
Hahn, engineer for East Laurel Industrial Park, described briefly the
proposal of the subdivision. This matter was referred to the Plat
Review Committee for further consideration and review.
Motion made by Kenneth Christian that the City of Laurel be
asked for a four mill levy and the County of Yellowstone be asked for
a two mill levy to operate the Laurel - Yellowstone City- County Planning
Board; that the City of Laurel be asked for an immediate $5,000.00 from
the general fund and the County of Yellowstone be asked for an immediate
$5,000.00 from the general fund for funds until the mill levy would go
into operation.
A letter from City Attorney, James Palmersheim, dated July 10,
1975, was read to the Board concerning the Montana Department of
Community Affairs.
The President appointed the following committees, to -wit:
