November 12, 1975
A meeting of the Plat Review Committee of the Laurel- Yellowstone
City - County Planning Board was held on November 12, 1975, at 7:15 pm,
with the following members present:
Kenneth Christian, Chairman
John Smith
Alan Richardson
Absent were:
Robert Dantic
Leo Kamp
Also present were:
Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Sinclair, owners of proposed Sinclair Sub.
Jack Mueller & Tom Astle of Mueller Engineering
Fred LaBue & John McMartin, Billings Planning Board
The developers and their engineers presented a proposed revised
plat of the subdivision. The proposed revision is to meet objections
raised by the County Surveyor and the State Planning Office about road
and street locations. The revised plan seems to provide a better street
pattern and allows for a through street across the subdivision.
It was moved by Al Richardson, seconded by John Smith, that the
revised plat be accepted and recommended to the Planning Board.
Other points regarding the subdivision that the Planning Board should
consider include:
1) Provision for surface drainage.
2) What happens to the old barn?
3) How are ditch shares to be used and divided?
14) Restrictions on animals on dwelling lots permits horses,
cows, etc. on one acre lots.
5) What provision for fire protection?
The meeting adjourned at 9 :00 pm.
