MINUTES OF THE LAUREL - YELLOWSTONE CITY - COUNTY PLANNING BOARD PLAT REVIEW
COMMITTEE
January 7, 1976
A meeting of the Laurel- Yellowstone City - County Planning Board Plat
Review Committee was called to order by Kenneth Christian, Chairman, on
January 7, 1976, at 7:30 pm, with the following members present:
Kenneth Christian
John Smith
Robert Dantic
Alan Richardson
Leo Kamp
Also present were:
Tom Astle of Mueller Engineering
John McMartin of Billings Planning Board
Charles Montee, Building and Safety Dept. of Laurel
The committee reviewed the revised plat of Hudson Subdivision, file
PB #75 - No action taken.
The committee reviewed the plat of Laurel Industrial Park Subdivision,
Kenneth G. Hageman, owner, file PB #75 - Motion by Robert Dantic,
seconded by Leo Kamp, to approve subject to:
1) The subdivision improvement agreement should refer
to the stated owner.
2) Name of the owner should be on the plat.
3) Railroad St. is a section line and is thereby
designated as an arterial street. Needs 80'
right of way. To achieve this the plat should ���,,,

4) Total submittal is in omplete in that it does
not contain a waiver of protest to insure instal-
lation of all improvements.
5) 4th St. So. should be continued through for several
reasons:
a) Bernhardt Rd. is too long a dead -end street;
the extension of 4th St. So. would alleviate
its dead -end nature.
b) 4th St. So., because of its location, should
be considered to be a collector, which would
ultimately parallel the Interstate. In this
consideration the width of 4th St. So., as a
collector, needs 80' right of way.
