Meeting called to order by John Hawley Smith, President, at
7:05 p.m., with the following members present:

Minutes of previous meeting approved as sent out. Bills approved
for payment: Administrative Services $200.00; Cumin Assoc., $27.47
for zoning maps; Cumin Assoc., $2,942.50 for Planning Advisory Services
in July, August, and September, 1980, as per contract.
A 8 H SUBDIVISION PB file #78 -16:
Discussion of park dedication cash requirement. Gary Weber
stated he has $16,000 into the land at the present time. Motion
from Tom Bradley to accept the cash park dedication based on $3,000
per acre, second from Kenneth Christian. Carried. Motion from
Kenneth Christian to authorize signing of the final plat when pre-
sented, seconded by R. M. Williams. Carried.
John MacMartin recommended to the Board that Chapter 17.64.010
paragraph (a) regarding Certificate of Occupancy requirements be
deleted from Chapter 17. Discussion. Motion from Kenneth Christian
to recommend deleting this section, seconded by Tom Bradley. Carried.
There will be a public hearing on this recommendation on November
8, 1979.

1979/80 Budget discussion: Actual Planning Board budget totals
$19,646.00 for this fiscal year. Added will be $10,000 Planning
grant from FmH "601" funds.
Discussion of special projects for this fiscal year: Board
anticipates planning for development of three parks. Discussion
regarding Murray Heights Park, Public Park near Casa Linda Sub.
and Willow Creek Sub., South Pond park, Montana Meadows park, and
rest of park near the Soft Ball Complex. Motion from Tom Bradley
to consider South Pond park first, second from R. M. Williams.
Carried. Motion from Tom Bradley to consider second Murray Heights
and third the Public Park near Casa Linda Sub. and Willow Creek
Sub., seconded by R. M. Williams. Carried.
Discussion of public hearing procedures. Data complies with
zoning ordinance Chapter 17.16 purposes. Motion to use form letter
prepared by Cumin Assoc. to send to adjacent property owners with
their official notices, seconded by Mary McCormick. Carried.
Suggestion of having an informal dinner for the Board and
their wives, husbands, or sweethearts was discussed. Consensus
was to delay this until after the first of the year.
Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
