Meeting called to order by John Hawley Smith, President,
at 7:15 p.m., with the following members present:

Minutes approved as corrected -- delete sign ordinance
intention to phase the old style signs out over a period of
years and replace with signs flush with buildings.
Bills approved for payment as follows: Eng. /Bldg Depart-
ment for Administrative Services $200.00; Cumin Assoc. Planning
Advisory Services $2,942.50, "701" holdback $1,000.00, and
payment for completion of 25% of special project (parks) $994.01.
Motion from R. M. Williams to draw down first half of taxes
from county and to request Coal Tax monies, seconded. Carried.
Discussion of parks and planning being done.
Discussion of new ordinances recently passed at the Council
meeting on February 5th.
Discussion of proposed sign ordinances. Motion from Otto
Preikszas to appoint John MacMartin to attend sign ordinance
conferences to be held in Billings, seconded. Carried.
