R. M. Williams, Vice Pres. (County Rep.) Otto J. Preikszas, Exec. Sec. (City Rep.) Ed LaPrath (County Rep.) James Seaton (County Rep.) Bus Roberts (City Rep.) Gerald Shay, Member at Large Members absent: James Straw (County Rep.) Mary McCormick (City Rep.) Kenneth Christian (County Rep.) Tom Bradley (City Rep.) Also present: John MacMartin, Cumin Assoc., Billings Mr. & Mrs. Norman L. Klein 911 8th Avenue, Laurel Stan Steadman Jeffrey German, Montana Western Sun Minutes of previous meeting approved as sent out. Bills approved for payment: Eng. /Bldg. Dept. Administrative Services for April in the amount of $200.00; Cumin Assoc., Consultant Services final payment for the. HUD 701 project from the fiscal year 78 -79 in the amount of $400.00. NORMAN KLEIN - HOME OCCUPATION: Norman Klein, 911 8th Avenue, Laurel, requests the Board's approval of a home occupation for a beauty shop at given address. Mr. Klein says it will be a small operation 2 - -3 days a week with a single operator. Motion from James Seaton, second by Ed LaPrath, that this be considered as a home occupation. Carried. SIGNS: John MacMartin said that next week two meetings with the public will be held to explain the sign ordinance,one at a Rotary noon meeting. SOLAR ACCESS ZONING: Mr. Steadman and Mr. German gave an exposition of solar planning, especially about solar access planning, to edu- cate the Board about zoning in this discipline. Mr. German showed slides of solar installations, homes, banks, and businesses already in place.
