R. M. Williams, Vice President (County Rep.) Otto J. Preikszas, Executive Secretary (City Rep.) James Seaton (County Rep.) Bus Roberts (City Rep.) Gerald Shay, Member -at- Large. Debbie Ketterling (City Rep.) new member members absent: Ed LaPrath (County Rep.) Kenneth Christian (County Rep.) Jim Straw (County Rep.) vacancy to be appointed (City Rep.) also present: John MacMartin, Cumin Assoc., Billings Minutes of previous meeting approved as sent out. Bills for Administrative Services in the amount of $400 for August and September approved for payment; bill to Cumin Associates in the amount of $3,000 for planning /advisory services in July, August, and September, 1981, as per contract approved for pay- ment. DeCARLO SUBDIVISION: John MacMartin said Gene Allison complained about a shoplike building going into DeCarlo Subdivision. The subdivision is out of the zoning jurisdiction. MAGNUS SUBDIVISION: The estate of John Metzger requested vacating the alley in Block 4, Magnus Subdivision. John MacMartin recom- mended disapproval because of dead -end alleys and future possi- bility of the necessity of putting utilities in the street. Board concurred. CHERRY HILL II PARK DEDICATION: The Board agreed upon $5,500 per net acre for park dedication. About $11,000 apparently is in arrears of approximately $16,000 due. What does the Board do? In earlier cases we recommended disapproval of building permits. Money was forthcoming immediately in those cases. John MacMartin to report at next meeting of action on this case. GEORGE FOX - VILLAGE SUBDIVISION: George Fox has resumed talk of moving forward on developing part of his property east of Yard Office Road (formerly known as East Laurel Subdivision) pending meeting requests of earlier requirements of City. John MacMartin views the annexation favorably even if this, at present, creates an open space in city contiguity. -1- •• Planning Board minutes September 10, 1981 PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS: No protestors present. The purpose of this hearing was to review proposed amendments to the Laurel Subdivision Regulations: 1) change date of plat submittal to 15th of month 2) change number of copies of material needed 3) delete fee schedule from ordinance and enforce fee schedule by Planning Board policy 4) set preliminary plat fee by Planning Board policy at $200 (due to increased mailing costs, etc.) plus $1 per lot for those lots over 100. Set minor plat fee at $100 Upon proper motion for each amendment, the Board recommends to the Laurel City Council to amend the Subdivision Regulations as herein detailed. DATE: July 9, 1981 It is hereby agreed that Cumin Associates shall be retained by the Laurel - Yellowstone City - County Planning Board for the period of July 1, 1981 through June 30, 1982, for the sum of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00); such retention shall be subject to the stipulations and conditions delineated in the existing contract between the two parties.
