The regular meeting of the Laurel City - County Planning Board
was called by the Chairman, John Daley, at 5:00 P. M. , on January 5, 1966,
in the council chambers, with the following members present:
John Daley
Dave Murray
Tom Mathis
Dick Black
Bert Ward
Tom Bradley, Secretary.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Jim O'Brien, of Billings, appeared in regard to the plat of the
Ward Subdivision. After general discussion, it was moved by Black,
seconded by Mathis, that the plat be approved, subject to the giving of ease-
ments to the City for sewer and to other utility companies. Motion carried.
The Secretary then suggested that the park requirements should
be set and after general discussion, it was moved by Ward, seconded by Black
that the park requirements be set for $200. 00 cash. Motion carried.
The Secretary informed Mrs. Ward that she could pay the $200. 00 at the
City Clerk's office.
Mr. O'Brien presented a proposed Certificate of Survey on a
portion of the Tom Mathis property. After general discussion, it was moved
by Black, second by Ward that a regular plat be required rather than a Certi-
ficate of Survey, and Mr. O'Brien was requested to prepare sketch of how
he thought the plat should be made, together with a sketch of any future
development on the remaining Mathis property and present the same to the
Board at its next meeting. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
