The regular meeting of the Laurel City- County Planning Board
was called by the Chairman, John Daley, at 5:00 o'clock P. M. , November 15,
1966, in the Council Chambers.
The following board members were present:
John Daley, Chairman
Merritt Williams
Tom Mathis
Dick Black
Tom Bradley, Secretary.
The Chairman presented three proposed Certificates of Survey
by Harlan Lund on the O. J. All, Arnold Gaub and K. A. R. Anderson properties.
It was agreed that the properties involved were outside of the development area
of the City of Laurel and therefore, Certificates of Survey would be allowed.
However, it was decided to require the surveyor to letter on the certificates
of survey that no further subdividing under these certificates would be permitted.
A motion was made accordingly by Dick Black, seconded by Merritt Williams.
Motion carried.
Robert Graham appeared on behalf of Gertrude Shauer and offered to sell a site
to the City for the proposed new reservoir. The Board was informed by
John Daley that the existing city reservoir site had been deemed adequate and
had been recommended by the engineer, therefore the Board informed Mr.
Graham that it would be of no avail to consider an offer.
There being no further business before the Board, it was moved by Merritt
Williams, seconded by Tom Mathis, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion
carried.
