MINUTES OF THE LAUREL CITY - COUNTY PLANNING BOARD
A meeting of the Laurel -City County Planning Board was held
on the 14th day of May, 1968, at 5:00 o'clock P. M.
The Chairman, John Daley, called the meeting to order.
The following members were present:
John Daley
Dick Black
Merritt Williams
Don Ronan
Ken Christian
Dave Murray
Tom Mathis
Tom Bradley.
Mr. Foos presented a proposed plat of the Foos Subdivision,
Second Filing. After general discussion, it was moved by Merritt Williams,
second by Ken Christian, that we approve the proposed plat, Motion carried.
Chairman, John Daley, presented a proposed Certificate of
Survey for Stanley Ellingson. After general discussion, it was moved by Tom
Mathis, seconded by Merritt Williams, that we approve the Certificate of Survey.
Motion carried.
Dr. Turcotte appeared and requested a discussion on a proposed
subdivision Southwest of Laurel on his farm. After general discussion, it
was suggested that John Daley view the site and the matter continued.
The Chairman called for a general discussion as to the question
of continuing the Planning Board. After general discussion, it was moved by
Merritt Williams that we continue as a Board and the Council so informed.
The motion seconded by Ken Christian. Motion carried. The Chairman
called on each member, to see if they would be willing to continue and all
agreed to do so.
There being no further business, it was moved by Dick Black,
second by Tom Mathis, that we adjourn. Motion carried.
