STAFF:
Rick Musson, Police Chief
Terry Ruff, Fire Chief
Jan Faught, Ambulance Director
Police:
Chief Musson reported that they are in the process of hiring a new Police Officer. Chief
Musson reported that the dept. is looking further into the Motorcycle Officer Program
and will report hack with any new information..
Ambulance:
Ambulance Director Faught opened the discussion on funding. After discussion, it was
decided that we would like to hear from different sources and Jan indicated that Bob
Brown from Livingston has offered to come to Laurel to our committee to show how they
fund their ambulance there. Ken stated that he could get information on how Whitefish
runs their dept. The committee said it would like to hear on this on the January meeting.
Ken stated he would talk to the city attorney about the ambulance funding. Jan reported
on maintenance work done in the ambulance bays..
Fire:
Chief Teaxy Ruffhad nothing to report on at this time.
Other Business:
Pat Kimmet stated that the Christmas decorations looked good and thanked the Fire dept
for their efforts.
Ken stated that the next meeting would fall on Christmas Eve and after some discussion it
was decided that the committee would not meet in December unless something came up.
There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned.
