Mr. Mayor:
The Laurel High School Student Council would like to inform you of our Homecoming
activities. The date for homecoming is September 19, 2014. Our annual parade is part of
our plans. We have completed the paper work and have been in touch with both the
police and fire departments.
Line up for the parade is at 3:30 PM. We will line up at the former Starlight Skating
Rink. Ms. Prevost and the Student Council parade committee will give entrants a line up
plan in advance which will make sure that no streets or driveways will be blocked. High
School administrators will assist with this as well.
The parade will begin at 4:00 PM. It will travel onto Main Street from 8 Avenue West
and go to First Avenue. It will then turn north on First Avenue and end at the football
field.
The football game against the Park County Rangers begins at 7 and coronation will be
held at half time.
