Sewer Dump Station:
Kurt explained that there are a couple of places in town where a sewer dump station could be put. The two
different kinds of dump stations available are open pit station or one that is enclosed in a building. Kurt
stated that typically they are put inside to keep them from freezing. Samples would need to be taken from
the trucks to see what they are dumping and the lab work could be done at the sewer plant. Kurt explained
that, in order to start this project, the city would need to get a task order from Great West Engineering.
Water Fill Station:
Kurt stated that he has been looking at bulk water stations. Flow Point Systems has given the city
information. The city is looking at the area behind Helena Chemical to put the Bulk Water System. Kurt
said that there will have to be an amendment to the task order that Great West Engineering has already
done.
Discussion of water & sewer extension to new West Laurel interchange:
Kurt stated that the City has no plans of expanding water and sewer lines to the new West Laurel
interchange. The project is not going to start until 2017 and there will possibly be three phases.
Other:
Kurt stated that the City will supply water to Riverside Park as soon as it thaws out.
