BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
MAY 11, 1999 7:00 P.M.
OLD COUNCIL CHAMBERS

The purpose of the meeting was to review the following preliminary budgets:
Library
City Hall
Clerk-Treasurer
Some revisions were made to all three budgets.
Discussion was held regarding repairs to the Council Chambers and City Hall
buildings. Larry will get costs for repairs as well as for some new building
options.
The committee gave approval to use unencumbered monies to purchase office
equipment from the cun'ent budget rather than wait and include the items in next
year's budget.
Mary reviewed and explained the budget summary sheet and chart of accounts.
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
