The Fire Department explained their choice for the computer projector and also
presented an update on their research for a new tender track. They proposed
revising the figure for the track from $95,000 to $70,000 for the 1999-2000
budget and will request funding for the tank and pump, estimated at $15,000 -
$20,000, in the 2000-2001 budget.
Mary presented information from the BARS workshop she attended on June l0th.
She reviewed new legislation that will impact the 1999-2000 budget, mainly
Senate Bill 184. She will conduct more research to come up with solid estimates
for property tax revenues. All budget deadlines have been waived for this year.
The Department of Revenue will provide the new certified mill and state
reimbursement figures by August 15th.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
