Reviewed and approved the following purchase requisitions: GENERAL FUND 2 printers - Police Department 3 portable radios - Police Department Computer projector with case - Fire and Public Works Copier for City Hall - Public Works Management audit - Public Works Paint for street crossings - Public Works Install electrical outlets - Parks Pool repairs - Parks WATER FUND Excavate street for tap Easement for water line SOLID WASTE FUND Garbage rate study STREET MAINTENANCE FUND Easement for storm sewer Lease for materials storage Gary Temple Chuck Rodgers Dusty Ballantyne 880.00 1,818.00 5,170.00 5,995.00 750.00 617.50 3,500.00 1,200.00 2,853.62 180.00 4,000.00 100.00 562.00 The Fire Department explained their choice for the computer projector and also presented an update on their research for a new tender track. They proposed revising the figure for the track from $95,000 to $70,000 for the 1999-2000 budget and will request funding for the tank and pump, estimated at $15,000 - $20,000, in the 2000-2001 budget. Mary presented information from the BARS workshop she attended on June l0th. She reviewed new legislation that will impact the 1999-2000 budget, mainly Senate Bill 184. She will conduct more research to come up with solid estimates for property tax revenues. All budget deadlines have been waived for this year. The Department of Revenue will provide the new certified mill and state reimbursement figures by August 15th.
