BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE
AUGUST 24, 1999 7:00 P.M.

The committee reviewed budget cut suggestions by the department heads and
made revisions to the General Fund budget. The end results will be presented as
the preliminary budget subject to the certified mill.
The committee also reviewed the enterprise funds budgets and discussed revisions
with Larry. He told the committee that he and Mary would be meeting with Erl
Tufte of Morrison Maierle to review the water fund revenues to determine
whether the rates are sufficient enough to set aside the anticipated money for
system replacement. Rates for the garbage and sewer funds were also discussed.
Discussion was also held regarding the condition of the pool. A public forum was
suggested to get input from pool users and the general public.
The meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday,
September 7th at 6:00 p.m.
