November 29, 1979
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers and called
Herman, at 7:05 p.m., on November 29, 1979,
Subdivision.

regarding the Sherrow Park
Bill Brennan
Terry Fink
Donald Meyers
Ervin Metzger
John MacMartin highiighted the Department Head's recommendations.
Discussion followed.
The City-County Planning Board has recommended approval with the
following conditions:
1) The water line in Ridge Drive should be a 12" line.
2) The fire hydrants placed as requested by the Fire Chief.
3) As requested, 6-inch water lines will be allowed in the cul-de-sacs.
4) The water lines be located in the streets as per the request of Public
Works Director.
5) Change Alberta to Idaho and all the use of "Drive" to "Street" where
noted.
6) A determination of the need for vacation of right of way along the
northern property line.
7} Work with the Public Works Director to determine the exact sewer
connection.
The garbage cans taken out of the cul-de-sacs.
Stop signs on the local streets where they intersect the collector.
Explore the creation of a maintenance district for storm sewer and
create, if possible.
Grading of Nutting Drain through the site.
Rollback taxes to be addressed.
Subdivision Improvements Agreement to be revised.
Ditches should be covered or possibly left open.

RESOLUTION NO. 1769
A RESOLUTION APPROV%NG SHERROW PARK SUBDIVISION
AS AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LAUREL, MONTANA
Motion by Alderman Fink to accept the Planning Board's recommendations
and that Resolution No. 1769 be passed and adopted, seconded by Alderman Behm.
Carried.
There being no further business to come before the council at this
time, the meeting was adjourned :~40 p.m.
