September 26, 1979
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of, Laurel, Montana,.
was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor, Larry D. Herman,
at 7:00 p.m., on September 26, 1979. This was a continuation of the budget '
discussion of the meeting on September Z8, 1979, for the purpose of adopting
the final budget and mill levy.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Albert Ehrlick Terry Fink
t Harold Burns Ervin Metzger
Duane Behm Donald Meyers
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Bill Brennan Susan Carter
Alderman Behm presented the mill levy and General Fund budget. Discussion.
Motion by Alderman Burns to set the mill levy at 120 mills as follows:
General 65
Volunteer Fire Dept. 2 ' 4 PERS 2
Comprehensive Insurance 2
Firemen's Relief 2
SID Revolving 2
FAP Bonds ~ Interest 11
Storm Sewer Bonds ~ Interest 34
~'otal 12 0
Seconded by Alderman Metzger. Carried.
Motion by Alderman Meyers to adopt the General Fund budget in the amount
~ of $894,418, as presented,. seconded by Alderman Burns. Carried.
e I Since the remaining budgets were not yet completed and entered into the ~i~
~ computer, they would be discussed at the regular meeting on October 2, 1979.
There being no further business to come befo` the council at this time, ~I
the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
