Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
August 28, 1979
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the council chambers and called to order by Mayor, Larry D.
Herman, at 5:30 p.m., on August 28, 1979•
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Albert Ehrlick Bill Brennan

f_.. ~ _ _ This being the time and place advertised bids were opened for the
~ 7th Street Sanitary Sewer.
~ Before the bids were opened,. it c~as announced that since it was not
made very clear that HUD money was involved in this contract, that con-
tractors, if they wanted to, could withdraw their bids.
Bids were as follows:
Halm-Sutherland $348,440.60
R Clause Construction Inc. 2g8,786.Q0
Steel Structures 264,332.00
Hoven Construction 329,261.70
The bids were referred to the engineer and found ~o be in order.
Motion by Alderman Ehrlick to award the bid to Steel Structures and
to give the- Mayor authority to sign the contract, subject to the final
approval of the contractor by HUD, seconded by Alderman Brennan. i
There being no further bus nes to come before the council at this
time, the meeting was adjourned at 6.00 p.m.
