Minutes of the City Council of Laurel
June 12, 1979
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor, Larry D. Herman, at 3:05 p.m., on June 12, 1979.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Albert Ehrlick Bill Brennan Harold Burns Susan Carter I
Duane Behm Terry .Fink I
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: Donald Meyers Ervin Metzger II
OTHERS PRESENT: George Fox Sandy Sanderson
Alan Towlerton Roger Reich
The Council met as a committee as a whole, to discuss the Fox property.
There is a proposed 250-unit trailer court for this property, and Mr.
George Fox will be constructing this court if it comes into the City or not. I
After. discussing this matter for about an hour, it was the consensus of
the council members present to recommend that the Fox property be annexed to
the City.
Motion by Alderman Fink to recommend that the Fox property be annexed
to the City of Laurel and that Mr. Fox agreed to pay for utility service
extensions, seconded by Alderman Ehrlick. Carried.
There being no further busi ss come before the council at this time,
the meeting was adjourned at 4:0 p.m.
