A Spec3.a1 meeting of the City ~ouneil of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers, and called to order by Mayor Larry D. Herman,
~t x:15 P.M•, on Tuesday, January 9, 1979.

SNOW BLOWE~t :
Mayor reported that Dick Metzger, Harold Dillenbeek and himself gent
to LaCrosse Wisconsin to look a~ a used snow blamer. dick reported that the I snaw blower would cost $8,500.Q0 plus $1.,000.00 shipping. The also looked at
a motor grader and wedge for $5,000.00 plus shipping. Harold reported on the
mechanical end of it and stated that the equipment was in very good condition
for its age. Discussion. The money would come from Revenue Sharing and. it
would be necessary to declare an Emergency Budget.
Motion b Alderman Kil a~ricks To purchase the snow blower for
00.00 plus shipping and the motor gr~.der and wedge far $~~000.00
plus shipping with the declaration of an Emergency for the purpose
of snow removal- This mone~r to come from Revenus Sharing. Seconded
by Alderman Meyers. Carried.
There being no further business to come before the council at this time, tho meeting was adjourned. !
