November 12, 1980
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
was held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Larry D.
Herman, at 5:00 p.m., on November 12~ 1980, for the purpose of a final
hearing on the HUD grant application.

William Ostermiller - How big of an area will the street construction cover?
Mayor Herman - Just the Malit area.
Question - Can one letter be drafted and then signed by all residents in
this area?
Answer - It will help - it's better than nothing. However, individual letters
wou-~be better.
More discussion.
The people in attendance indicated that street paving in this area is
very badly needed and that they were going to initiate a letter writing
campaign to gather more support for this project.
There being no further busine~--b~come before the Council at this
time, the meeting was adjourned.
