BEING AN ORDIANCE SETTING THE SALARY FOR THE OFFICE
OF MAYOR, POLICE JUDGE, AND ALDERMAN, AND REPEALING
ANY ORDIANCES IN CONFLICT THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAUREL:
Section 1. Commencing with the month of May, 1971, and continuing
thereafter, the salary paid to the Mayor ef the 8i~- of Laurel shall be the
s~ nf Two Hundred Fifty and no/lO0 Dollars (~250.00) per month.
See%ion 2. That commencing with the month of May, 1971, and continu-
ing thereafter~ the salary paid to the Polise Judge of the City of Laurel
shall be the sum of Two Hundred and mn/lC0 Dollars ($200.00) per month.
Section 3. Cc~menoing with the month cf May, 1971, and continuing
thereafter, the salary paid to the Alderman of the City of Laurel shall
be the sum of Seventy-.five and no/lO0 Dellars ($75.00) per month, except
tbs president of the Council whose salary shall be $90.00 per month,
Section 4, That the above and foregoing salary shall be the total
compensation paid for all such designated officers, and no special allow-
anco shall be made for any automobile expense incurred in the carrying
out of their duties within the city limits.

Sec%ion 6. This Ordiance shall be i~ full force and effect
commencing with the firs% of May, 1971.
