HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 591NO. ,. 591 ,. BEING AN ORDIANCE SETTING THE SALARY FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR, POLICE JUDGE, AND ALDERMAN, AND REPEALING ANY ORDIANCES IN CONFLICT THERETO. BE IT ORDAINED BY T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL: Section 1. Commencing with the month of May, 1971, and continuing thereafter, the salary paid to the Mayor ef the 8i~- of Laurel shall be the s~ nf Two Hundred Fifty and no/lO0 Dollars (~250.00) per month. See%ion 2. That commencing with the month of May, 1971, and continu- ing thereafter~ the salary paid to the Polise Judge of the City of Laurel shall be the sum of Two Hundred and mn/lC0 Dollars ($200.00) per month. Section 3. Cc~menoing with the month cf May, 1971, and continuing thereafter, the salary paid to the Alderman of the City of Laurel shall be the sum of Seventy-.five and no/lO0 Dellars ($75.00) per month, except tbs president of the Council whose salary shall be $90.00 per month, Section 4, That the above and foregoing salary shall be the total compensation paid for all such designated officers, and no special allow- anco shall be made for any automobile expense incurred in the carrying out of their duties within the city limits.
