BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALARY PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 5-1 (10), REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LAUREL IN REGARDS TO THE PAY PROVISION FOR AUXILIARY
POLICE, DECLARING AN AMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LAURE L:
Section 5-1 (10) of Chapter V. of the Revised
the City of Laurel, is herewith amended to read as follows:

Pay: Any member of the Auxiliary Polic~ shall receive the sum of
for each hour of service to the City of Laurel, However, the City

Polic~, may, at its discretion, allow any expenses actually incurred by such
Auxiliary Polic~ in the performance of their duty; and the City Council, may,
at its discretion, make an allowance for equipment or clothes.
Section 2: Any member of the Auxiliary Police called out for d~ty shall
receive a minimum of 2 hours of pay for each call-out.
Section 3: An emergency is herewith declared to exist and this Ordinance
shall go into full force and effect immediately upon its passing.
