OF THE LAUREL SANITARY LANDFI'LL DUMP;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL:

That the City of Laurel shall operate a city landfill dump for
garbage and debris.
That health, sanitation, and pollution control requires that
regulations governing the type of material; the manner of
disposal thereof; and the place for dumping the same re-
quires that rules and regulations be adopted for the manage-
ment of the landfill area.
That the City Engineer of the City of Laurel is hereby des-
ignated as the officer-in-charge of the said landfill area.
That the City Engineer shall adopt such rules and regula-
tions, including hours of operation of said area, as may be
required in the operation of the dump. That such rules and
regulations shall be posted at the entrance of the dump and
that such rules and regulations must be obeyed by all per-
sons using the dump.
That any person violating the rules and regulations as post-
ed for the operation of the dump shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, punishable as provided by the ordinances of the
City of Laurel.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after passage of the above.
