BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-2, OF THE REVIMED
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL, 1961, BY PROVIDING FOR THE
RE-DISTRICTING OF THE WARDS OF THE CITY; '
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL THAT
SECTION 2-2 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LAUREL IS
HEREWITH AMENDED TO PROVIDE AS FOLLOWS:
"SECTION 2-2. Wards. The territory embraced within the corporate
limits of the City of Laurel sb.'~ll be, and the same is hereby divided
into four wards as follows:
(1) First Ward. All that portion of the city lying North of
South 6th Street to the middle of 3rd Street, and from the West city
boundary East to Wyoming Avenue.
(2) Second Ward. From the middle of 3rd Street North to
th(, middle of 6th Street. and from the West city boundary to the
middle of Wyoming Ave~me.
(3) Third Ward. From the m~ddle of 6th Street to the North
city limits, and fromm the West city limits to the middle of Wyoming
Avenue and the North projectio~ of the same.
(4) Fourth Ward. From the city boundary on Mai~ Street
from Wyoming Avenue and the North extension thereof North to
the city limits; from the middle of Wyoming Avenue East to the city
limits.
(5) All ordina~ces and portions thereof in conflict hereto are
herewith repealed.
(6) This Ordina~ce shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its pmssage herein."
