BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER III,
AND IN PARTICULAR SECTION 3 - 1, OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES
OF LAUREL, CONCERNING THE TIME OF MEETINGS OF THE
CITY COUNCIL;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LAUREL:
Section 3-1. Meetings. The City Council shall hold its regular meetings
for the transaction of municipal business on the first and third Mondays in
each month, and to such other meetings to which the Council may be ad-
journed or which may be called. Special meetings may be called by the
Mayor or, at the request of three members of the Council~ by the City
Clerk'at any time upon their request, after giving reasonable notice in
writing or orally to all members of the City Council present in the city.
Ail meetings, unless otherwise ordered for a good cause, shall be held in
the City Council Chamber, beginning at 7:00 P. M.
Section 3-2. All ordinances, or portions thereof, in conflict hereto, are
herewith repealed.
Section 3-3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage herein.
