BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING MINIMUM STANDARDS AND PROCEDURE
FOR THE PLATTING OR ANNEXING LAND WITHIN OR CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY
OF LAUREL~ AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
Whereas, the Montana Subdivision and Platting Act requires
municipalities within the state to adopt minimum standards and
procedures, and
Whereas, the City of Laurel has prepared such standards
and procedures known as "Subdivision Regulations for the City of
Laurel" now contained in a bound volume by that title, one copy
of which is on file with the City Engineer and one copy with the
City Library, and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions,
terms and penalties are hereby made a part of the City Ordinances
as if fully set out herein, and
Whereas, all publication of notices, and all public
hearings as required by law have been complied with, and
W~ereas, the City Council declares that an emergency
~xists for the preservation of the public health and general welfare
and that immediate adoption of said regulations is necessary.
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED THAT THE "SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS
FOR THE CITY OF LAUREL" BE, AND HEREBY ARE, ADOPTED IN THEIR ENTIRETY~
AND AN EMERGENCY HAVING BEEN DECLARED ARE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED THAT ANY OTHER ORDINANCE OR PORTION
THEREOF, IN CONFLICT WITH THE PROVISIONS HEREIN ADOPTED IS HEREWITH
REPEALED.
