ORDINANCE NO. 632
BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE "UNIFOR~ CODE
FOR THE ABAT~4ENT OF DANG~OUS BUILDINGS,"
1976 EDITION AS THE ABATEMENT OF DANG~OUS
CODE OF THE CITY OF LAUREL.
W~EAS, it is in the public interest and necessity that the City of
Laurel adopt a code for the abatement of dangerous buildings, and that the
International Conference of Building Officials, Whittier, California, have
published, prepared and adopted the Uniform Code for the Abatement of
Dangerous Buildings, 1976 edition and said code meets the requirements of
the City of Laurel,
IT IS HEP~EBY 0EDAINED:
A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of
the city engineer, designated as "Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous
Buildings," 1976 edition and new editions made thereto, and any amendm~ents,
additions, new editions, or modifications made thereto, since publication
of the bound volume, published and adopted by the International Conference
of Building Officials, Whittier, California, with certain revisions and
modifications by the said City of Laurel, shall be the abatement of dangerous
buildings code for the City of Laurel and providing penalties for violation.
Ail of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said
Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings are hereby made a part
of this chapter and/or ordinance as if fully set out herein.
