ORDINANCE NO. 633
BEING AN ORDinANCE ADOPTING THE "UI~IFORM
~/ECHANICAL CODE," 1976 EDITION AS THE
MECHANICAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LAUREL.
WHerEAS, it is in the public interest and necessity that the City of
Laurel adopt a mechanical code, and that the International Conference of
Building Officials, Whittier, California, and the International Association
of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, Los Angeles, California, have published,
prepared and adopted the Uniform Mechanical code, 1976 edition and said
code meets the requirements of the City of Laurel,
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED:
A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of
the city engineer, designated as "Uniform 1/echanical Code," 1976 edition
and new editions made thereto, and any a~endmsnts, additions, new editions,
or modifications made thereto, since publication of the bound volume,
published and adopted by the International Conference of B~ilding Officials,
Whittier, California, and the International Association of Plumbing and
Mechanical Officials, Los Angeles, California, with certain revisions
and modifications by the said City of Laurel, shall be the mechanical code
for the City of Laurel and provicbtng penalties for violation. Ail of the
regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Uniform
Mechanical Code are hereby made a part of this chapter and/or ordinance
as if fully set out herein.
