BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE "UNIFORM SWIJ%~NG
POOL CODE," 1976 EDITION AS THE ~ING POOL
CODE OF THE CITY OF LAUREL.
WHEREAS~ it is in the public interest and mecessity that the City of
Laurel adopt a code for sw4mmt,~ pools, and that the International Association
of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, Los Angeles, California, have published,
prepared and adopted the Uniform Swi~t-g Pool Code, 1976 edition and said
code meets the requirements of the City of Laurel,
IT IS N~EBY ORDAINED:
A certain document, se (1) copy of which is on file in the office of
the city engineer~ designated as "Uniform Swi~mt-g Pool Code,. 1976 edition
and new editions mede thereto, and any amendments, additions, new editions,
or modifications made thereto, since publication of the hound volume,
published and adopted by the International Association of Plmmbing and
Mechanical Officials, Los Angeles, California, with certain revisions and
modifications by the said City of Laurel, shall he the sw/mming pool code
for the City of Laurel and providing penalties for violation. Ail of the
regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Uniform
Swimming Code are hereby ma~e a part of this chapter and/or ordinance as if
fully set out herein,
