BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE "UNIFORM SIGN
CODE," 1976 EDITION AS THE SIGN CODE OF THE
CITY OF LAUREL.
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and necessity that the City of
Laurel adopt a code for sig~s, and that the International Conference of
B~ilding Officials~ ~4hittier, California~ have published, prepared and
adopted the Uniform Sign C~de, 1975 edition and said code meets the require-
ments of the City of Laurel,
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED:
A certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office of
the city engineer, designated as "I~-~*orm Sign Code," 1976 edition and new
editions made thereto, and any amendments, additions, new editions, or
modifications made thereto, since publication of the bound vol,m~, published
and adopted by the International Conference of Building Officials, Whittier,
California, with certain revisions and modifications by the said City of
Laurel, shall be the sign code for the City of Laurel and providing
penalties for violation. Ail of the regulations, provisions, penalties,
conditions and terms of said Uniform Sigm Code are hereby made a part of
this chapter and/or ordinance as if fully set out herein.
