BEING AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE AND DEVELOPMENT OF
BOULEVARDS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LAUREL,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL:
THAT WHEREAS, in certain areas of the city a portion of the city
streets has been designated as boulevards, and
WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Laurel is desirous thai these
boulevard areas be maintained in grass and trees for the natural beautifica-
tion of the city; and
WHEREAS~ it appears to the City Council that in some instances ad-
joining property owners have been using or converting the boulevard areas
to other purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
ol Laurel that all boulevard areas must be kept in grass and trees unless
specific permission be granted by the City Council for other purposes. Any
person failing to comply or violating the provisions of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Any provisions or prior ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance is herewith repealed.
