BEING AN ORDINANCE CREATING A STREET SWEEPING
DISTRICT AND PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT AND
COSTS THEREFOR AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAUREL:
Section 1. That there is herewith created a Street
Sweeping District, which shall hereinafter be known as Street
Sweeping District No. 1.
Section 2. That the boundaries of said District No. 1
shall be as follows: ON BOTH SIDES OF EACH STREET OR AVENUE
1) from the intersection of South Washington Avenue and SE 4th Street
to the intersection of 1st Avenue South and SE 4th Street
2) from the intersection of 1st Avenue South and SE 4th Street
to the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue
3} from the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue
to the intersection of 7th Street and 1st Avenue
4) from the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue
to the intersection of Sth Avenue and West Main Street
5) from the intersection of 5th Avenue and South 1st Street
to the intersection of 5th Avenue and West Main Street
6) from the intersection of West 1st Street and 3rd Avenue
to the intersection of East 1st Street and Pennsylvania Avenue

Section 3. That the streets and alleys within the above
described District No. 1 shall be swept during the year as the
City of Laurel shall deem necessary.
Section 4. That the costs incurred
