ANNEXATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, there
is hereby added to the Laurel Municipal Code to Section 18.76.010
the foilowing:
Section 18.76.010 Annexations.

shall be annexed to the city except in one block units. Less
than a block may be annexed if part of the block is within
the city or the City Council determines annexation to be in
the best interest of the city to annex less than one block.
A block being a tract of land bounded by street, or by a com-
bination of streets, or by a combination of streets and public
parks, cemeteries, railroad right-of-way, or corporate boundary
line of the city.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on
February 5 , 1980, by Alderman Fink
Passed by the Laurel City Council and approved by the
Mayor this 5th day of February , 1980.
