HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 676 ORDINANCE NO. 676 BUILDING PERMITS REGARDING SUBDIVISIONS BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, there is hereby added to the Laurel Municipal Code to Section 15.12.070 the following: Section 15.12.070 Building permits regarding subdivisions. A. No building per~it shall be issued for the construction of any building, structure, or improvement to the land or any lot within a subdivision, which has been approved for plat- ting or replatting, which is located entirely within the city or in part within one mile of the nearest limits of the city, until all requirements of the building ordinances and subdivision ordinances have been complied with. B. No building permit shall be issued for construction of any building, structure, or improvement to the land, or lot within a subdivision, which has been approved for platting or replatting, which is located entirely within the city or in part within one mile of the nearest limits of the city, until required utility facilities have been installed and made ready to service the property, and until roadways providing access to the subject lot or lots have been con- structed and paved and curb and gutter installed, or shall be completed in not less than ninety (90) days from the date of the permit. C. No occupancy permit shall be granted for the use of any structure within a subdivision approved for platting or replatting until required utility facilities have been installed and made ready to service the property, and until roadways providing access to the subject lot or lots have been constructed and paved, and curb and gutter installed.
