UTILITIES AND LOT IMPROVEMENTS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel,
is hereby added to the

Section 18.40.055

Laurel Municipal Code to Section 18.40.055
Utilities and lot improvements. Water and
sewer services shall not be extended to a subdivision, which has
been approved for platting or replatting, within one mile of the
nearest limits of the city, until a waiver of annexation by the
owner of the lot or lots to r~eeive the services is exeeuted and
filed with the County Clerk and Recorder and the execution of assur-
ances that the roadways providing access to the subject lot or lots
have been constructed and paved, and curb and gutter installed, or
shall be commenced in one year from the date of receiving water and
sewer services. Subdivisions having received final approval and
filed before April S~ 1880~ are exempt from these provisions~ pro-
vided that satisfactory waiver of protest of special improvement
district for improvements has been filed and assurances executed for
early pavement completion prior to building construction.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on
March 4, 1980, by Alderman Ehrlick.
Passed by the Laurel City Council and approved by the Mayor
this 4th day of March, 1980.
