HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 687 - Fail - ORDINANCE NO. 687 AMENDING CHAPTER 2.08 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, that Chapter 2.08 of the Laurel Municipal Code is hereby amended to read: Section 2.08.120 Maintenance Director. A Maintenance Director shall be appointed annually by the Mayor, by and with the advise and consent of the Council, on the first day of May, or as soon thereafter as possible. He shall hold his office for the term of one year and until his successor is appointed. If he is replaced or the job is abolished, the right is reserved to place himself in any formerly held position. Section 2.08.1i0 Public Utilities Director. A Public Utilities Director shall be appointed annually by the Mayor, by and with the advise and consent of the Council, on the first day of May, or as soon thereafter as possible. He shall hold his office for the term of one year and until his successor is appointed. If he is replaced or the job is abolished, the right is reserved to place himself in any formerly held position.
