AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE LAUREL MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Laurel, Montana,
that Chapter 18 of the Laurel Municipal Code is amended in part
to read as follows:
Seetion 18.20.020 Preliminary Plat Application
A. On reaching conclusions, informally as recommended in pre-
application regarding his general program and objectives, the
subdivider shall cause to be prepared a preliminary plat
together with the supplementary material as specified in these
regulations.
Bo Written application for preliminary plat approval along with
the required fee as established in Chapter 18.74.050 shaI1 be
submitted to the City-County Planning Board together with
twenty-four {24) copies of the material as speeified in these
regulations.
C. Application for preliminary plat approval shall be made to the
City-County Planning Board office on or before five (5) o'clock
on the 15th day of any given month. When the date of submittal
falls on a weekend or holiday, the submittal shall be on the
following day before five {5) o'clock.
Section 18.72.050 Schedule of Fees The appropriate fee
shall accompany the Preliminary Plat or Preliminary Minor Plat.
The Planning Board shall set the policy and periodically adjust same
via public hearings. {Fees are designed to cover advertising and
postage costs.)
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council on October 6,
1981, by Alderman Meyers.
Passed and adopted by the Laurel City Council and approved by
the Mayor this 20th day of October, 1981.
