BOARD OF TRUSTEES November 8, 2005
Attending
Peggy Freund (presiding), Katherine Kucera, Gail Brice, Bruce McCullough, and
Peggy Arnold attended the meeting.
Minutes
The minutes of the October 13, 2005 meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence
The Montana State Library sent a reminder that our Collection Management
policy is due for updating.
Circulation
Traffic for October 2005 was 1,506 down 6% from October 2004. Circulation for
October 2005 was 2,897 down 7% from October 2004.
Old Business
We discussed the Friends of the library book sale and street signs for the library.
Daniel Baney has completed his requirements for Eagle Scout Award. Bernice
Mason, Yellowstone County Home Extension Agent, will present her holiday
program on Monday November 21 at 7 p.m.
New Business
A new session of guitar lessons has started. Microfilms of the older Laurel
Outlooks may be purchased from the Montana State Historical Society.
Time to Address the Board
Joe Bradley addressed the board concerning the library hours, a microfilm reader
printer, and the possibility of putting up a framed picture and obituary of Carrie
Erb, the first librarian.
