Board of Trustees October 13, 2005
Attending
Margaret Freund (presiding), Katherine Kucera, Gail Brice, Clare Killebrew,
Bruce McCullough, Peggy Arnold and Suzanne Reymer attended the meeting.
Minutes
The minutes of the September 13, 2005 meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence -The Montana State Library sent notification of a trustee
workshop to be held in Billings on October 22.
Circulation
Traffic for September 2005 was 1,463 down 12% from September 2004.
Circulation for September 2005 was 2,946 down 11.5% from September 2004.
Old Business
The Friends of the Library will hold a book sale November 3,4, and 5th. Daniel
Baney is completing the work for his Eagle Scout Award. The garden club will
purchase a tree to replace the one that died. The 4H will clear away the material
around the tree, plant the tree and return the material around the tree.
New Business
Katherine Kucera and Peggy Arnold will sign up to attend the MSL sponsored
trustee workshop on October 22. Katherine Kucera reported on the September
24 Federation Advisory Board meeting. Suzanne Reymer, Montana State
Library technician, presented information on the Planning for Results process.
We will continue this process in January.
