Board of Trustees September 13, 2005
Attending
Margaret Freund (presiding), Katherine Kucera, Gail Brice, Clare Killebrew,
Bruce McCullough, and Peggy Arnold attended the meeting
Minutes
The minutes of the August 4, 2005 meeting were read and approved.
Correspondence -We received our state aid check for per capita /per square mile
for fiscal year 2006 from the Montana State Library in the amount of $631.94.
The check for ILL reimbursement in the amount of $30.64 was also received.
The fall Federation Advisory Board meeting will be held September 24 in Billings.
Peggy Arnold and Michelle Taylor will attend training on First Search at MSU -B
on September 20.
Circulation
Traffic for August 2005 was 1,879 down 7% from August 2004. Circulation for
August 2005 was 3,888 up 6% from August 2004.
Old Business
We will go to lunch with Bonnie Latham on September 16. The planning sessions
schedule will be moved back a month. We will work on our list of names for the
planning sessions and find some dates when a facilitator can help us. The
Friends will meet again on September 27 at 10:30. Karin Lance and Roger
Larson will co -chair the Friends and Bob Engle will work on a mission statement.
New Business
The administrative assistant will hold Department Head meetings every Monday
at 8:00 a.m. Peggy Arnold will attend a cataloging workshop and meeting for the
Shared Catalog in Lewistown on October 6 and 7. There is a Virtual Reference
meeting in Livingston on October 22.
